WHAT TO EXPECT

The foundation of the parenting tools in this workshop are based on Jane Nelson’s Positive Discipline. This approach comes from an understanding that children have a need for belonging and significance. With a focus on developing a strong connection with your child, as well as using a kind and firm approach, you can teach your child the valuable life skills you want them to learn. There will be mini lectures and discussions, role-playing, group and partnering exercises, and closed-eye processes to support you in finding solutions you may not have seen before.

THE FACILITATOR

Faith Chinnock is a certified Life Coach and Positive Discipline Parent Educator, as well as a Mother of two children. After having her own children, Faith saw the challenges parents face and decided to develop a workshop that includes introspective work as well as concrete tools to support parents in being the respectful and loving parents they want to be.
