CrossWalk is a community of people who are learning to love well by:
Restoring peace with God...
We were created to be in relationship with God. We share a hope and a vision to merge our lives with God. It is a fusing together of our ordinary everyday lives, responsibilities, and relationships with God. It’s about our lives being connected authentically with God.
Restoring peace with one another...
Throughout the Bible there are descriptions of what it looks like to live life together. Many of these descriptions are found in God’s instructions to do things for "one another." Here are several of these "one anothers," or actions of restoring peace, that God calls us to live out:
"LOVE one another, ENCOURAGE one another, ACCEPT one another, BE DEVOTED TO one another, FORGIVE one another, BE KIND TO one another, SPEAK TRUTH TO one another, LIVE IN PEACE WITH one another, SERVE one another, COMFORT one another, BE HUMBLE TO one another, BE UNIFIED WITH one another...”
Restoring peace with the earth...
The creation that surrounds us came from God's hand. As he is working to restore this earth, our call is to join him in this restoration. Recycling and being as ‘green’ as possible is something our community values. We support ways to restore this earth and to care for the beauty God has entrusted to us.
